How can I adopt a pet?
To adopt an animal, please visit Animal Care Services Monday through Friday 11:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday 11:00am to 4:30pm or Sundays from Noon to 4pm. If you see an animal you are interested in adopting simply write the animal number down on a piece of paper. The animal number starts with an "A######" it identifies the animal to the staff. Bring the number to the adoptions office located in the back of each kennel and staff members will check the availability of the animal or you can visit the Animal Care Services Adopt a Pet Page on www.saacs.net to see available animals for adoption. Once the animal availability is confirmed by a staff member you can go by the adoptions office to fill out the adoption application form and start the adoption process. Regular Animal Adoption fees are: $81.00 puppies/dogs $29.00 kittens/cats. Be sure to ask about regular specials.
