What is the organics program and when is my collection day?

The City's Organic Material Recycling Pilot Program has ended. Current participants will have the opportunity to continue the service. There will be a $3.00 monthly fee associated with the collection of the organics which will be billed through CPS along with current Solid Waste Management fees.

The carts were delivered to homes in select neighborhoods and were part of the Pilot Program.

This new program is part of SWMD's 10-Year Recycling and Resource Recovery Plan. The plan's goal is to increase the City's recycling rate to 60% by the year 2025.
