You may dispose of brush or bulky items at:

Bitters Brush/Bulky Site at 1800 E. Bitters San Antonio Texas 78228.

The hours of operation are Monday through Sunday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Friday and Saturday 8:00am to 6:00pm.

(Bulky Only)

Frio Bulky Waste Collection Center at 1531 Frio City Rd. San Antonio Texas 78226. The hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm. Closed Sunday and Monday.

(Brush Only) Nelson Garden Brush Recycling Center 8963 Nelson Road, San Antonio Texas 78252. The hours of operation are Monday through Sunday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Friday and Saturday 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Customers that pay the Solid Waste and Environmental fee through CPS may dispose of bulky items free of charge. A CPS bill is required along with a picture ID.

When delivering items to the Brush/Bulky Recycling Center the loads must be covered with a tarp. (City Ordinance)

You may also schedule an out of cycle collection. The Solid Waste Management Department charges a fee to collect bulky/brush items. The fees for Out-of-Cycle collection are as follows:

One item $50.00
Up to four (4) cubic yards $50.00
Each additional four (4) cubic yards (or any portion) $25.00

There is no limit as long as the items fit in front of the house and are within 8 feet from the curb.
